To DAC or not to DAC...
I also use a reflection audio modified benchmark and the results have made me very happy.....I use an RME foreface clocked to an isocrone antelope and then to the dac....I am very happy with this after owning many expensive single and two box cdp's.
High End Monitors
The KCS SEAS exotic looks very interesting...I have not heard them but bet they are real good
ARC REF 3 or MBL 5011 - what is better buy?
You do not specify but if you have not upgrded to Mundorf caps and NOS tun=bes in your Flora then you have not heard it at it's best.It still may not get the job done for you but then again it may...If you have already done these things....never m...
What Power Cords Work Best with Audionote Amps
I would give Nick Gowan a call at True Sound in Campbell, CA.Nick is a very nice guy and knows lots about Audio Note Kondo gear.
Audio Note digital
IMO, I think you are going in the wrong direction if you go back to conventional cd replay.I would contact someone like Steve Nugent at Empirical Audio, Stephen Balliet at Reflection Audio or Vincent Sanders at VRS (I'm sure there are many others)...

Battery Powered Preamps
I use a Battery powered TRL custom pre-amp. It is a very low gain design which suits my system very well and the sound is amazing. I have owned many high-end tube and SS designs.I have not owned one but have heard one extensively and the Reflectio...
Shindo Latour Speakers
I am not using using them but I did have a chance to hear them for a couple of hours in an all Shindo system (top of the line) and they were excellent. The room they were in was big and the speakers just sang...great dynamics, tonality and a vibra...
"Sistrum SP-101 or SRA V 3.0"
I think this would be a tough call as both are excellent products. I have used the Sistrum 101's under a variety of tube monos over the years and they have always performed well. I have used the SRA Ohio Class product under a Hybrid and Tube amp a...
Good speakers at low volume?
Gawdbless,Yes, I know of what you speak, as the first DNM pre-amp I had presented this issue. When I got the DNM 3-D six Mr. Morecroft was able to set the gain and VC up with much more usable range....I am one of the few that likes the dual VC as ...
Speakers for classical using my SET rig?
I can't yet speak to their efficacy but I am going to be trying Audiokinesis/Duke's swarm sub system with my Lamhorns. Based on some past experience and my discussions with Duke I am fairly confident that this is going to be a winner. The system i...
