Triode Lab 45 Evo Highly recommended. Take a look.
Do some DACs "handle" sibilance better than others?
A couple of months ago I bought and subsequently sold a well reviewed preamp that I could not listen to because of the additional silence that I heard that was not there with any of three other preamps or bypassing the preamp. Sting, Paul Simon, ...
Old SS amps
Still using my sunfire amp from late 90s in my second system. Sounds pretty darn good but not quite up to my Triode Lab PSet 45 monoblocks in my primary system. I’ve swapped them several times not and keep going back to the TL. There’s also a 10x ...

Need Ideas on speaker cables
Would highly recommend duelund cables;   very comparable to my Cardas reflections when comparing interconnects; duelund were a tad bit more vibrant and a lot lower cost. Cardas were warmer.    much prefer the duelunds to my anticable level 4.1 s...
Help please! Something amiss with my digital chain
Help me understand how/why you don’t have a preamp on the analog side after the phono pre?
Help please! Something amiss with my digital chain
Based on my prior experience with the auralic G2.2, I would agree with an above post that WiFi is not your issue. Moving to a Ethernet connection marginally cleaned up sound and marginally expanded bass output,  but marginally is the key here. I ...

Duelund makes some great cables at $16/ meter from parts connection.  I replaced my Cardas with them
Seeking horn array loudspeakers with a maximum price of $17,500.00 per pair.
Look at Joseph Crowe Audio.  Most of my listening is at those volume levels and the sound is rich and full. my amps are 4.5 watt monoblocks type 45 tubes.
Are you operating in the correct SPL window for high-fidelity listening?
I’m listening at 66db now which is optimal for me when I am not constrained by other people or nighttime situations.

@reimarc just wondering if you have and can share a source for the SE 45s? SE has been out of stock for months, at least in my searches.
Speakers for 2nd System!
@karl_desch in my opinion, the Sibelius would be a worthwhile audition..
Speakers for 2nd System!
I used the Sibelius with a 4.5 watt set 45 tube amp in a second system and had very impressive results. After 5 other speakers, they are the only ones I regret selling.  Really beautiful sound. Unexpected real bass. Midrange bliss.
