Flat vinyl records... Please chip-in to insite!
Hello czarivey - I don't know how much light has to do with the process as much as the heat the direct sunlight produces.  A sunlamp might work for you.  Check out the VinylFlat site.  You don't have buy their self-heating gizmo.  Instead they sug...
What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report
@milpai - just curious...when you say, "I do not own a single LP....".  Do you mean by the Dan or across the board?  You won't get any criticism from me...just curious.   Around here, "No LPs" would certainly be a minority position...though we oft...

Hi @milpai - Hard to go wrong with a Steely Dan album but for me Royal Scam is probably the one I listen to the most.  The vinyl I had was so-so...kinda flat. Not much "air".  The remastered CD I got recently (it's not a new release, however) - as...
Who has tried "TIDAL" vs other streaming applications?
"And to be honest most music doesn’t even benefit from lossless too much if at all over full bitrate mp3. It’s those audiophile quality ones that do and those are much more few and far between."EXACTLY. kacz - as far as I’m concerned, you are prea...

Hey dp - Good to see you posting.  I generally check out your titles if they are new to me.  Imitation the sincerest form of flattery, as they say.

Have you checked for blown fuse(s)?
Subwoofers.... one 10" or two 8"?
To anyone interested, I repeated the out of phase/phase setting experiment using the on-line tone generator posted above and a Radio Shack SPL meter positioned approx. ear level at the listening position. I ran measurements from 200 to 10 HZ for t...

leotis - YES, RH of TAS. I might have muddled things together having read a couple of pieces about that  method including the one at the TAS link you provided.  I think RH contributed as well to the Sound + Vision article I read.  Did see his name...
Subwoofers.... one 10" or two 8"?
@leotis - I found that same procedure you recommend (setting sub's phase based on minimizing bass output at the crossover frequency while while main speakers are in reverse phase to sub).  It was actually in Sound & Vision and submitted by Rob...
