T.H.E. Show in Los Angeles First of all, buy Pure Music for your Mac. It uses iTunes as a filing medium only and can handle all of your format needs. DSD is not that big of a deal to implement. It sounds great, 24/96 sounds great, they all are capable of tremendous results....
T.H.E. Show in Los Angeles No I didn't although, while I appreciate the engineering and the last drop of the performance that can be wrung out of vinyl, Its just not worth the fuss to me so I simply keep moving. Those Rube Goldberg style turntables are cool as heck though. ...

Preamp for mc275le. Need advice, please I'll again make my point. Dacs today, note I am saying today, sound very nice on the whole and extremely nice in specific circumstances. The C50 and the C2500 BOTH come with a decent dac, built in, for basically no extra charge. Now then, lets say...
Preamp for mc275le. Need advice, please I'll come at this from a little different angle. While no one will argue that digital technology and advancement has come a long way, I believe much of the advancement today is certainly marginal for the perceived improvement. In other words, its ...
Jazz for aficionados Like many who glance at this never ending dialogue, I enjoy the commentary. I am concerned though that the original poster Orpheus10 has not posted in over two months, I hope his health is ok.
McIntosh MA 7900 impressions/experience? The 7900 is virtually identical to my MAC 6700 (which is itself a minor evolution from the MA 6600) with the 7900 giving up the built in tuner in exchange for the 5 band eq. Typically excellent McIntosh build quality, the built in dac is actually ...
Pre-recorded Reel-to Reel tapes Most older prerecorded reel to reel tapes were actually dubbed high speed, which we all know created a poor quality copy. Factor also that they were dubbed to a slow playback speed, its not hard to understand why they never really had a fan base. ...

usher audio usa distributor? I have dealt with Katli Audio before and Fred is world class. He is one of the nicest, most honest dealer/distributors I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Could be good news for Usher.
