I have yet to hear a streamer demo'ed to me, sound better in an a/b than good hi-end cdp playing the same album.I would think that error correction with streaming would be much more, because it's got to come from anywhere in the world via the net....

hugos7  Avalon Time vs Avalon ISIS ?About 20K difference , which would you go for ?Some Avalon speaker have very hard to drive impedance/phase angle loads, (good to see the graphs on these) Then it will depend what amp you have, to look at tho...
Class D is just Dandy!
This is an open forum, I believe that Class-d should be seen from both sides of the camp, not censored to just the pro-camp, this way members can make up their own minds whether or not to get one, because all do not see "Class-D as being just dand...

Interesting read on two expensive high end mono-blocks from Mark Levinson. The $50K  No.53 Class-D mono-blocks where they spent considerable time and effort to address and rid the problems of class-D, but never got the great review (listening or me...

PS: there isn’t much moderation/monitoring around here lately. That’s what the "Report This" button is for, to draw attention to it. I have found it works great if a reasonable concern is reported. And the mods do a great job, keeping it real!Loo...

pts Do your homework, as I’ve found one of the the mono blocks can't remember which one, were just bridged versions of the stereo amps. And there is a price to pay when bridging amps, you get more watts yes, but at a big hit in other areas like d...

That’s right if you couldn’t do that without the need to Google then your statement "I've forgotten more electronics than you ever knew. Assuming you ever knew any" Is moot and pure voodoo. https://cortez.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/voodoomedium.j...
