What do the "legs" of audio components have to do with the metals used in fuses No wonder your a "fuser" if you had to ask that.
Is there a Solid State amp that can satisfy a SET guy?
Pass XA25.. You will want to open it up and check for tubes inside.. Ah yeah??? unusually tight, uncoloured and extended sounding tubes yes.Other amps but low power and gain would be Nelson Pass’s Aleph’s, which think all models are single ended,...

An audio rack that really does make a difference.
If anything, it diffuses the sound and broadens the sound stage - but only if the rack is at least 3 feet behind the plane of the speaker face. And even more so the depth if it's not there at all.Cheers George
Ceramic fuses
@georgehifi Thanks for posting. Those images are eye opening. Any idea how many cycles passed between images? No, but if you watch a fuse very closely on a poweramp when you turn it on from cold, you’ll see the fuse element inside bend and return...
Ceramic fuses
ricey Just re-new your fuse with the same amperage if it’s old and has seen many turn on cycles, with a quality one like Bussman or Littlefuse and clean the cradle fuse contacts and maybe squeeze them in a little for a tight fit. And definitely do...

High end Class D amps?
bluorion OP gdnrbob As I said your Lux is more than fine for that speakers load and probally better than any Class-D. But if your insistent on getting a Class-D, I’d wait for mid February to see what this new all out Integrated is all about, and ...

High end Class D amps?
djones51 The Luxman is more than enough to drive those speakers. Ditto. bluorion OP Just look at the impedance/phase curves, absolutely no problem for the Lux, and it will sound better that any class-D on them, to boot.https://www.stereophile...

George, please, you must be referring to home theater. This is a 2 channel thread. What are you talking about, if you have no constructive advise, don’t be a putz.🥴
