Who makes budget speaker cables which are truly “good” or “exceptional” in quality?
Actually, male enhancement pills are not (rpt not) really a good example to make your point since male enhancement pills work. At least that’s what I’ve read.
Why are the vocals on some records hidden behind the music on my system?
When the VTA is off by 1/10 degree the distortion is up 100%.
Speaker distance
Is there an echo in here? I already said what’s required is a comprehensive program of the XLO Test CD, room treatments and tweaks. Obviously things change for speaker placement as things progress. At any point in time the track on the XLO CD, all...
Who makes budget speaker cables which are truly “good” or “exceptional” in quality?
csontosGeoff, yes, you should have gotten the Oppo UDP205. :)Why? The LG Blu Ray was only $23. The LG Smart HDTV has a fabulous picture, as doe my LG smartphone, so I’m confident the LG Blu Ray player with the Carbon HDMI Cable will not be too ter...
Sonic Tonic fom the Tweek Geek
Uh, lack, I believe the term you’re looking for is intellectual property. Besides once a thing has presence on the internet for one year, which mine has and Herbies’ has, it has intellectual property rights. Besides, it’s an ethical as well as leg...
Sonic Tonic fom the Tweek Geek
Hmmmm, the name of the new product sounds familiar. Oh, SuperSonic Stabilizer is a Herbies Audio product. Kind of like Sonic Tonic is the name of one of my products.
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
I’m not trying to hot dog anyone but can contact enhancer be applied to HDMI cables? I just bought my first HDMI cable, the Audioquest Carbon. Controlled for directionality with all the buzzers and whistles. Yeah! 😛
Who makes budget speaker cables which are truly “good” or “exceptional” in quality?
After some of the usual agonizing 😫 I just sprung for an Audioquest Carbon HDMI Cable for my new LG Smart HDTV and LG Blu Ray player. The Carbon has 5% silver connectors and controlled for directionality. Oh, my! The Carbon cost 5 times more than ...
Using Oppo 205 instead of per amp processor
willemjHe wouldn’t be the only inarticulate poster here (although I sometimes rather enjoy his posts). There are times when I think some here do not only know nothing about science, but know no grammar either. A little bit of extra effort goes a l...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
More on the Furutech product that, and I don’t like casting dispersions, appears to be a copy of Quicksilver Gold, with some familiar sounding innovations, I.e. cryo and “electromagnetic field processing.” I trust the translation is not exact as t...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
Rosemary Clooney?! What? Whoa! Gad Zooks!
New system has fatiguing, harsh high frequency sounds. How to fix?
It’s quite possible the listener position is located smack dab in the middle of a standing wave. What are the odds? I’d guess around 2 to 1.
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
Nothing so insidious or devious. 😛 Your humble scribe is how I refer to myself occasionally. Your humble scribe and your humble narrarator are used in literature and movies. Alex in A Clockwork Orange, for example, refers to himself as your friend...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
I read here on this thread that the new product is easy to remove. I’m not talking about other products, although I have had Silclear and Quicksilver and Quicksilver Gold, which your humble scribe found easy to remove, well, not terrible anyway. I...
Why are the vocals on some records hidden behind the music on my system?
Just to clarify, what I’m talking about is the issue usually called Polarity which is when the system is hooked up correctly and all components are in correct polarity (non-inverting). Then, when a recording that is in reverse Polarity is played o...
