Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
I hate to judge before all the facts are in but it appears the bobbyd38 dude hasn’t been paying very close attention to how this thread has developed. Hint: we’re off the copper thinggie. We’re onto the dielectric thinggie now.
Beware of new material claims - the case of graphene
It’s obviously much more difficult to produce and apply “real” two dimensional graphene. But what’s not clear is that there are also apparently advantages to 2, 3, 4, 5 layer Graphene, which is apparently easier to mass produce, at least I suspect...
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
Stop the presses!! Audioquest explains cable burn in. And guess what? It’s not really rocket science. 🚀“A highly misunderstood area of cable performance is the subject of cable run-in, sometimes (inaccurately) referred to as “break-in.” “Break-in”...

Fake argument. Why would anyone cry foul when you can hear the Graphene based product? Are you intentionally trying to start a fight? What do you mean you don’t understand how Graphene works? Everyone else does by now.

Uh, GrapheneQ is not (rpt not) Graphene. It’s a composite.
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
GanainmanmWe say our thing, get flamed, and more or less go away, although I think it is probably a good thing so those who (correctly) thought they know a little about science and engineering can realize MANY other well educated people understand ...
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
It’s refreshing to see someone else fall into glubson’s trap of endless back and forth bloviation.

You’re mistaken. SR does not (rpt not) coat the conductor in their fuses with Graphene.
No one actually knows how to lculate what speaker cable they need
b4icuNo speaker’s cable maker, have a tiniest clue of what cable we need. They also do not know why one cable sounds better over the other. They have no idea what are the electrical (engineering) values that make one cable better over another. An ...

kosst_amojan@geoffkait What’s your point? Who can’t buy reels of cryo’d cable and wire? I can. I don’t think it makes any difference.>>>>>Bingo! That’s my point! You don’t think it makes any difference. And cryogenics is only one ex...

2noheadphones,I can interpret for myself who is spewing jibber jabber and who isn’t. I suspect this is a simple case of you have been following the wrong sheep. Your big hero, Roger Russell, doesn’t know anything. How about them tomatoes?
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
Can you provide any evidence to support that statement?
Please tutor me on some integrated amp basics.
kosst_amojanCables aren't hard to build either. No, it’s not hard to build cables per se. However building cables that truly sound superior is a horse of a different color and requires some special knowledge and skills beyond what most people prob...
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
Breaking News! This just in from Galen Carol Audio.“Cables: Most all cable manufacturers agree that break-in is a result of changes in the conductor and/or dielectric. According to one manufacturer: "The insulation (or dielectric) will absorb ener...
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
I see you were unable to provide any proof that burn-in doesn’t exist. Just as I expected. All that stuff you just posted is unsubstantiated jibber jabber.
