Theoretical question about how CD's work
The OP is clearly trying to make the point that if it’s all 1s and 0s on the CD how can anything make a difference - the data on the CD cannot be changed. Hel-loo! It’s not exactly rocket science. It’s the same argument regarding digital cables. T...
What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?
One thing I’ve noticed about Lizzie and I mean no disrespect if that she seems to favor tweaks that involve toilet paper in some fashion or another. And I’m not trying to imply she’s a skinflint.
Anticable Cables: what do you like about them thread?
In case I wasn’t clear, what I like about them without hearing them is the fact they’re controlled for directionality. 🔜 🤗

david_tenGeoff, what happens when you take the Audiophile out of the room? : )>>>>That’s one thing I desperately try to avoid, a room with a lot of anxious audiophiles sitting or standing around analyzing the sound or worried how the s...

yping,I  get it. We're good.

This is your captain speaking. The fasten seat belt sign just came on. 🔛 We’re experiencing a little turbulence. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Talk amongst yourselves. Smoke if ya got em.

Actually they don’t use mold release compound MRC during the manufacture of CDs. That’s what they call an old wives tale.

Have I forgotten anything? Whoa! Hey, I forgot plants! 🌿 Now, everybody knows plants are supposed to be good for the sound, right? You know, the diffusion provided by a nice palm or fern or rubber tree plant sitting in the room, plus providing a n...

ypingAs a theoretical physicist have you received any awards? As a thought, would or could you say that energy is directional and still emanating from the point source (the big bang) which (perhaps and by observation) is why the universe still app...
Theoretical question about how CD's work
Nurse! Thorazine! Man down! Costco hasn’t been paying attention. In the case of CDs the 1s and 0s are represented by transitions not by the ON or OFF. As I already explained it’s more complicated than you apparently think. The link I provided yest...

OK, dudes and dudettes, here are some practical examples anyone can do that illustrate what I’m referring to, that our local environment affects our sensory perception of sound. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that these examples can...

False conception of causation. A misunderstanding of science or causality. Fear of the unknown. In other words, the very definition of superstitious. No offense to you personally. If I may be so bold I suggest you wear an aluminum foil hat whilst ...

That’s what I am gathering. That’s called superstitious. Problem solved! 🤗

Yeah, that seems like something that would definitely work. 🤗 What could possibly go wrong with that idea. Geez, the person calling for the TT doesn’t even have to be at home. 😬

Well, at least the world’s most sophisticated synthetic piano player. 🤭
