What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?
@mahgister, you the man! Myself, I’m not convinced. Oh, well...
What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?
@mahgister, from the VH Audio web site regarding the Acoustic Revive Schumann Frequency Generator,“What is the Schumann Resonance? The "Schumann Resonance" is a resonance frequency that exists in the Earth’s "electromagnetic" cavity; i.e. it exists...

wynpalmerYes, many CDs are just dross, while a few are quite magical.>>>>I can certainly understand why you would believe that but it’s not because the CDs per sec are dross. It’s because the playback system can not retrieve the data c...

tom32801Another thing that baffles me is HDMI cables. I don’t know why, but I see slight differences with HDMI cables on both my Pioneer Kuro TV and my computer monitor.>>>>>>There it is! I must have ESP. 😳

Shirley Temple; I don’t go all the way.J. Edgar Hoover: I don’t go all the way, either.

Shootout of four earphones and a headphone
Quick update on progress with burn in of HIFIMAN RE-600S V2 earphones. I finally switched over from using Zeppelin and Kraftwerk and Beastie Boys for burning them in after about hour 140. I now have about 16 hours logged on the System Burn-in Trac...

The future is OK. But I’d much rather be here with you knuckleheads playing whack a mole. 😛
Theoretical question about how CD's work
mapmanNo reason to argue about how CDs work. It’s pretty well documented. Books are still an inquiring mind’s best friend.>>>>Ah, good one, moopman! The old Skeptics Society chestnut. 🌰 Since everything is known and can be found in Wik...
Phase Inversion, to flip polarity or not
The Polarity Test track on the XLO Test CD is in Correct Polarity. But wouldn’t it be funny if it wasn’t? 😬
