Name your favorite sax solo.
Dunno if it's been mentioned: Waiting for a Friend by the Stones, sax solo by Sonny Rollins.
Led Zeppelin-newly remastered
I'll be goddamned, someone finally agreed with me. I'm gonna mark this day down on my calendar. :-)
Amazing James Randi?
Jlambrick - you would lose. :-)
Mercury Living Presence
I do not find the Mercury LPs or CDs to be overly bright, generally speaking, tho' there may be a few exceptions. they will challenge one's system. I like the Classic reissues quite a lot; some are quite remarkable.
Super High Material
TDK (I think it was) introduced high-transparency CD-Rs a few years ago as audiophile grade, not sure if they're still available. Don't recall the material, twasn't polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is not the most transparent material at wavelengths o...
Led Zeppelin-newly remastered
Metralla, but I thought the Page transfers were spectacular. I might not have expressed that quite right. I will be spinning the Mothership CDs this week, but I need to treat them first. :-) Geoff
Led Zeppelin-newly remastered

What is the best Beatle Song
I Wanna Be Your Man, but not the Beatles version, the earlier Stones version. Heh heh
Indian Sitar Stuff
The *Moment* label (CD) is dedicated to Indian music, and similar, employs audiophile recording equipment, some recordings live. Very good sound.
Does it really get any better than the Raven AC ??
A littlle birdie told me that the feet used with the Sistrum should be points down for best sound. Any Sistrum users find this to be true?
does anyone sharpie thier CD's???
How about Devil in a Blue Dress and Sympathy for the Devil?
does anyone sharpie thier CD's???
Shadorne - No, the color purple will better *reflect* red than will the color green. That's the (scientific) problem with the argument for purple. To make the issue even more confusing, 780nm is not really red, but infrared (not visible).Cheers, GK

Shadorne, you said, "The green marker on the edge of the disc....This is the kind of stuff science is able to deal with." I agree with you; but how does science deal with it when the best color is purple? :-)
