| Using a RS SPL meter Iirc I used to set the meter to 0 dB for the average sound level in the room. Then when you move around the room you can see the peaks and the dips in dB relative to the average level. | |
| When does speaker distortion become audible? It's a strange thing, that when a high end system is turned up a little louder than average distortion is very audible.
