Stillpoints ERS cloth for EMI/RFI
I suspect one might be better off wrapping the transformer with mu metal, you know, something that absorbs the magnetic field the transformer produces.
How Do You Feel about The Cable Game?
I'm out of the cable game. No more speaker cables. No more interconnects. No more interconnects. No more digital cable. No more power cords. Only really really thin earphone cables. I'm out there and lovin' it, Jerry!
too much acoustic treatment suck mids, shrill highs
One of the absolutely worse sounding systems I ever had the displeasure of hearing in lauded about $10,000 worth of room treatments.

Mapman, oh, and another thing about my clock. It operates on TIME as opposed to say RFI/EMI, acoustic waves, vibration or things of that nature. But it's not a clock. Its actually set for time depending on where the customer is located, just not t...

Mapman, you know I hate to brag but what makes the Clever Little Clock so clever is that it doesn't even have to be plugged into the wall outlet. It's battery powered. It also has nothing to do with what you think it does, e.g. Power lines or even...

Wolf, here is the pertinent portion of George Tice's letter to Stereophile regarding a angry letter to the magazine from a disgruntled customer. Enjoy."Regarding your question "What technology does the Clock offer?": TPT is a material treatment sy...

Wolf, obviously Lars' system was not revealing enough, you don't follow instructions or you guys had too much to drink. As I said you can throw out the negative results. Furthermore, what with Tesla coils, cryogenics, cream electret, quantum paral...
Rockport Altair matching amplifier?
I was showing in the room with the really big Rockports, the Hyperions, that were driven by two sets of tube electronics to very good effect. The tube amps were Tenor.

Wolf, hey, you got it all wrong. The clock was treated just the same way all the Tice power line conditions were treated. But, hey, my clock doesn't even plug into the wall so the Tice gizmo looks kind of tame next to mine.
Agree or disagree with the following statement.
Wolf, not sure what you mean. The Tice Clock worked great according to the positive reviews. Just throw out the negative reviews. They're outliers.

Well, just to be fair, it's not actually a "populist" viewpoint. It's a pseudo skeptic's viewpoint.
Does HiRez really sound better?
Tim, here's an example. There are many examples of what I'm referring to. Take the RCA Living Stereo CD of Heifetz playing the Brahms and Tchaicovsky violin concertos. Listen to the Brahms piece enough to get an idea what the sound is like. Then l...

Look, how do you buy a TV? You go in the store and look at the picture of the ones in your budget. Then you pick the one you like. Why should audio be any different? Duh!

Wolf is correct. Give that man a silver dollar.
