Determining current flow to install "audiophile" fuses.
Somebody's been tuning in RT a little too much.;-)
Sonic Barrier damping sheets vs cork
I like cork quite a bit particularly around circuit boards and transformers. Lead not so much.

"You can also measure the effects of a fuse, however we’ve not been able to measure any effects of the boutique fuses as being any different than the regular ones, assuming that they were indeed the right rating. All that I’ve ever used is a regul...
Determining current flow to install "audiophile" fuses.
"There won’t be any directionality if the fuse is used in an AC circuit. Its really really hard to see how such a fuse could then be used in a DC circuit and impart any directionality whatsoever. I’d love to see the explanation on that one!!"How o...
QUALITY AND SECURITY OF "LITTELFUSE" PRODUCTS
Thanks for looking, Al. I'm not really surprised.  But where can one go to read up on wire directionality?  MIT?  Georgia Tech? Maybe NASA has a technical paper on line, or even AES.  Darpa? Belden Cable?  Most likely fuse and wire directionality ...
QUALITY AND SECURITY OF "LITTELFUSE" PRODUCTS
Just curious, does LITTELFUSE also have a PDF file that discusses the directionality of fuses or wire generally?  Maybe they just haven’t caught up to the aftermarket guys. Wire directionality is an important ingredient of fuses as we have seen. I...
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil
Quick question.  Are these audiophile capacitors like the Mundorf directional?
Where do you guys buy tubes?
I only buy from tired and trussed tube sellers.

Wolfman wrote,"I would bet that if you snuck into a "fuse-centric" audiophile’s listening room and reversed all the fuses exactly nobody would know…the fun part starts when years later you tell ’em about it."Actually, it would be the skeptic who w...

Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables
The actual making of Graphene and even the cost is not really an issue. Anyone can do it. It’s the app-li-ca-tion that’s the difficult part to come up with. Kinda like quantum dots, if I may be so bold.
Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables
Ozzy, if Graphene were being used as a signal conductor doesn’t it make sense that they would have used Graphene for the Backbone conductor, not copper/silver? If you Google Graphene you will see it’s primary use is in shielding RFI/EMI. And the r...
Where do you guys buy tubes?
I got some great tubes on eBay. You get what you pay for. And you can check out the seller's sales and feedback.
Best Equipment Stand
Bdp24 wrote,"My God Geoff, what a great idea! I guess the looser the "spring tension" of the bungee cord (the slower it bounces up and down when pressed upon), the better (a lower resonant frequency, obviously). By the way, what’s your opinion on ...
Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables
Right, the secondary conductor is the RFI shield. RFI shields are characterized by high conductivity. Like Graphene.
