@buellrider,I agree with you.I find it sad that so many people need to say something unkind, rather than not sharing such opinions.I also agree that Richard is a great guy, too.Bob
Is imaging reality?
@OP,Yet another interesting post!I concur with a number of previous posters-Listening to a live concert performance usually doesn't have the focus of instruments that a recording does. But, listening to a live performance allows a more personal con...
Speaker wire isolators - Do they improve SQ?

Good entry level cables
@OP,If you are going with long runs, I suggest Audioquest. The GO-4 is probably the best bang for the buck, and not cost prohibitive. The DBS system is the thing that raises them above the other manufacturers, in my opinion.B

@OP,This is getting pretty weird. How are you getting internet?I am beginning to think it might be your router or ISP.Windows, for me, hasn't been a problem with streaming. There might be a firewall/security protocol that is not allowing music to st...
If you had to pick a laptop or mini-PC, which one?
I posted on your other thread, but I think you are going about this the wrong way.You are having strange drop outs? Right.Have you tried to use the optical output on the Ayre Codex? You might just have a wonky cable.Sure your old Lenovo might be th...

You might give Fidelizer a try.It can prioritize audio in Windows.I use it and it seems to improve sound quality significantly.Plus, the price is not prohibitive. https://fidelizer-audio.com/ In fact, I would contact the designer,  Keetakawee, a...

Looking for an amp that is great at doing the disappearing act, smooth sounding, but not colored, and with lots of authority.   I suggest looking at Ayre.B
