Does a DAC like this even exist?
Another vote for no issues with Roon volume control. @nekoaudio , made some good points. If you need a nice DAC for not much money, I suggest an Ayre Codex, used. It has a volume control (alas, no unwired control). B
New blog post: Living with Focal Speakers
Meetoo! @erik_squires  How did you decide on Focal's? Bob
Anyone else suffering with Qobuz tonight
No issue for me, either. I bet it is your internet provider. B
Low cost subwoofer upgrade
Hsu subs are pretty good for money. If buying used, try to get the more recent models. B
Audio stand needed....Moving main components from mechanical room to listening room
I forgot about Sound Anchors, they made my racks for my monoblocks and subs. Also, Townshend Audio offers nice platforms and isolation devices- I don't think they do racks, though. B

If you have the funds, HRS would be my choice. B
How easily can you distinguish between different DACs?
It is quite easy to discern the differences between DAC's. Even moderate priced DAC by Schiit easily show how moving up the product line affects sound quality. It would be easiest if you had the DAC's side by side, but once you have listened to o...
Speakers versus Balance vs Amplifier
Have you had your hearing checked?- No, I don't mean it as an insult. Sometimes you hearing can change.  I have a similar experience, mostly due to an upper frequency loss in my left ear. Bob
Cable management....crossing at right angles or
Your cables should be shielded, so positioning isn't as critical as say- two wires with just insulation being crossed. Bob
Audeze - 3 conductors per side?
Sounds like an XLR connection. Positive, Negative, Ground. B
SabrinaX Sub-Crossover
The SabrinaX is rated down to 31Hz.   I think you are chasing a dream.  Even if you could get down to 20hz., you probably wouldn't hear it. I'd just set up the Sabrina's to the best possible position. B
Balanced XLR vs RCA for phono stage
I will echo looking at Ralph Karsten's posts (@atmasphere). His website (once again, Atmasphere) gives some great information, too. Plus, he is a really nice guy. Bob
Upgrade from Bluesound Node
Get a used Ayre Codex. They are going under $1K now. It will smoke many DAC's three times the price. I used it with a Bluesound Node, years ago. Worked with Aurrender, and Innuos, too.  If you can swing an Innuos Zen Mini with the Codex, even be...

Idalia and Power Issues
I would just unplug everything for the few hours the storm moves by, and if needed, move equipment to a place that will be safe from flooding. Bob
