Blue Node 2 ... ???
+1 Maritime.I own the original Nodes and use an Ayre Codex as DAC.The Nodes work as they should and the outboard DAC enhances sound quality.I don't think you will be disappointed with the onboard DAC, but you can always plug in a better one, like ...
Power conditioners and wall warts
Great topic. I, too, would like to hear opinions. In reply, I think there are many who are replacing wall warts with Linear Power supplies, to great effect.Bob
Zu Speakers upgrade
I would say, Yes.I own the Mk. 2 Omen Bookshelves and they were very good speakers. (I am selling them as I change my office system). For $800, I think it will be a worthwhile investment. I used an Ayre AX-7e integrated, but really any decent amp o...

Now I remember...The original Node and Node 2 didn't support 5 ghz wireless.Did that change with the 2i?Bob
It is hard enough buying new speakers, let alone older speakers to use as an upgrade

New Bluesound's Node 2i

BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR DEALINGS ON AUDIO-ASYLUM
I hate seeing this happening. If the listing dill has posted is the one you are referring to, I see the seller has a good rating, so there was no reason for you to be suspicious.Hopefully, AA will help you resolve this issue. If not, then I think ...

Now, this is an offer I am hoping to take you up on...B

It is those integrated subs with EQ. I just wish I had the money to buy a pair of Quatro CT's. Though I find my current setup pretty amazing.@OP, just get in touch with John Rutan or Mr. V. Bob
Upgraditis?
It was meant to be timeless. That is why it is still played today. Too bad current popular music seems to find this irrelevant.B
Dual Subwoofers: close together?
Though I don't consider myself an expert, I think you are doing a disservice to those subs. I can relate to having restricted areas to place equipment, as my main listening room is basically a LR/DR combo. My subs are just behind the main speakers...
