Has anyone heard the new North American products preamp and amp?
Take the product to Shark Tank and try and get an investment.

Xaviercg, if what you state is in fact the case, in a way that would belie what Roger has indicated as a reply to my post where I asked if speaker placement even if off in the slightest would adversely effect distortion, etc.

Thanks you for the response Roger. I suppose the center stage being off left-right does make sense. Given the level of information you have included in this thread, it probably would have been more efficient had you included all of this in your wh...
Has anyone heard the new North American products preamp and amp?
I'm was honestly trying to be just a "fly-on-the-wall" here. I had an opportunity just now to read the white paper. Among other things I could disagree with, one in particular is the assertion that "air medium has no obstacles". Perhaps I am misun...

Roger, please allow me to preface this post by admitting that the technical content of this post is a bit "over-my-head". That said, I did have a peak at your website products, but have not read your white-paper. While it is conceivable you are a ...
Modern Polk
If you like your Polk's, you owe it to yourself to check out the GoldenEar line.
Just moved to an apartment need speaker suggestions
Do yourself a favor and check out the GoldenEar line of speakers. You can get a new pair of T5s in that price range or for a bit more the new T3+. You may also be able to pick up a used pair for less on this site or the GET site.
Speaker Choice ?
Golden Ear Triton One. And you can get a new pair let alone used at the $5000 mark. I use solid state so I am in no position to recommend anything in the tube amp world. I can tell you the Triton's are good-very efficient (92db) so should be easy ...
Would someone explain what "up sampling" means and how it can affect the sound?
tls49 and chayro - ordinarily I would ignore such a foolish and technically inaccurate response (from the both of you), however, I have ample time and desire to stir things up a bit to reiterate how wrong you are. Nowhere have I stated that someon...
Would someone explain what "up sampling" means and how it can affect the sound?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sampling_(signal_processing)#Sampling_rate Also, I would have to disagree with chayro’s statement “If you want to make an educated decision, buy a dac based on sound and not specs.” Seems to me it would be best to ma...
Musical Fidelity kw DM 25 Transport and DAC
Just my .02 I own a Musical Fidelity M6si and am very happy with the unit. It does exude quality and prior to purchasing I did a direct comparison to Krell Vanguard and preferred the MF. I cannot speak to their CD players / Transports as I haven't...

Music for testing equipment speakers, headphones..
You’re welcome kefas. That disk is rather revealing and can truly make a good setup sing. In fact, if you're only looking to "generally appraise" your system, you only need to play about 30 seconds or so of each track. Enjoy!
Is the main reason audio equipment depreciates so much is
Definitely #4, over-priced to begin with. I offer the following example(s) as proof.Consider the following brands of audio equipment, all of which I have. What is interesting to note is that not only do the manufacturers of these items claim they ...
What's up with the ridiculous offers?!?
In my opinion and to offer an explanation not yet posted in this thread, most NEW hi-end audio equipment is WAY overpriced to begin with. Personally I like to buy only new items (in everything not just audio equipment). People have no choice but t...
