THE WALL---Why? @ahendler not trying to be argumentative, but I'm of the opinion filters are not meant to improve the sound. Not to say that they can't, but if they do it usually would mean something was very wrong to begin with. I think ideally any improvement s...

Marantz vs. Emotiva dbw1, irrespective of your intention by virtue of this thread to understand if the Marantz would be a step backward in terms of sound quality, if you have purchased an Emotiva product and are not completely satisfied because of a manufacturers def...
Marantz vs. Emotiva dbw1, I'm just a "fly-on-a-wall" with this thread because while I have no familiarity with either component you mention herein, I do have two pieces of Emotiva gear I'm happy with, so I'm concerned with the lack of servicing you have experienced. ...

Doubling a Set of Speaker Cables I appreciate the feedback from all of you. At least there are some goners here that have tried this doubling technique and report positive results. That too gives me something to consider.I'm currently using Belden 5T00UP wire. That's not entirely...
Doubling a Set of Speaker Cables @almarg thank you for putting this into perspective, including a mention as to the credibility or lack thereof of the author of that review. I imagined this post would spark some interest for you, obviously because of the Daedalus speakers themsel...
Must speakers have certain volume to sound convincing ? In my opinion, "yes". If a speaker isn't adequately "pressurizing" the listening environment it doesn't sound "convincing". In my experience I've found that there typically is a "sweet spot" volume - much like a sweet spot listening position. To ... |
