Expensive amp or cheap classdaudio? I love my Nuforce Reference 9 V3SE's, and find them better in many ways than more expensive and heavier (in weight and cost) amps. The comments about cleaner, clearer, and quicker, with excellent bass dynamics and control are spot on. Also leaving ...

Ayon Audio CD-5 versus CD-5s MellbguyThanks for the clarification. I re-read the sentence about op amps and misunderstood the first time around.
North Carolina Audio Club TrietzAre you still in the mountains? I am in Hendersonville area and would love to get together. Charlotte is a little far for me.
Ayon Audio CD-5 versus CD-5s MGThank you for you thorough, informative, and cogent review of the CD5s. I too, with over 500 hours on mine, feel it represents an ideal front end with the NOS 6H30P-DR output tubes. I would emphasize that having this quality of transport, DAC, a...

Magic Eraser as Isolation Feet Magic eraser is made of melamine foam. I found this stuff online at $60 per 2" thick 2x4 feet sheet with Wikepedia saying that it has been used for years for sound insulation. Do you think it would work under 150 lbs speakers as an isolator?
Using Granite under speakers Thanks for the complement. We really enjoy it.
Using Granite under speakers Inna Thanks for the tip. I do move them out some when critical listening, but they are front ported and they image pretty well where they are. WSF comes in terms of leaving them out several feet.
Using Granite under speakers Thanks for all the responses. I am also considering Stillponts Ultra's, pricey but sound very effective
