Does removing anti-skating really improve sound? @tubelvr1, my experience dovetails yours. No AS results in a more open sound. By contrast, AS brings greater focus and more stable L to R image. Old Rek-O-Kut needs repairs but i cant find a proper manual any were. Try posting on the Lencoheaven forum. Members there have a deep knowledge of these old idler tables. They are awesome and will help you. | |
