| JBL LSR6312SP Help Those are high output subs, should be good for your shop. You're going to need some high efficiency speakers for the rest of the frequency range. Altec, JBL, Klipsch and Tannoy come to mind. | |

| Mcintosh amp stock pwr cord only 4 ft??? The shorter the power cord the better. If you need longer, make sure it's super heavy duty with high grade connectors. Good luck. | |

| If a " system " cannot do this, I move on........ Great thread! I love my older Altec's and use them everyday. Concentric drivers are my preference and of couse high efficency. Large Heil AMT's and JBL's good too, even at low to moderate volume levels. | |
| Anyone tried Benchmark cables? I'm not using BNC and RCA combo cables, but could be better than 2 RCA's. I would change the RCA's to BNC and use a BNC to BNC cable. See darTZeel and other top brands are starting to use BNC's. | |
