| Totem Hawks/Forests - Upstream Components You might want to try Arcam components. I believe the Totems are voiced with Arcam. If not, the synergy created between these to products makes this combination sound incredible. | |

| Best for the details? I would second what sogood51 stated. The dedicated pre amp, by far, would better any processor/pre. Of all the processors I have used nothing can beat a dedicated two channel pre for the front speakers. | |
| SLIMLINE AMPS ? You might want to try one of the new class D amplifiers such as the ones made by NuForce, Flying Mole, Edge, Rowland, EAR and the other amp companies, that can be placed right next to the speakers, instead of rack mounting. | |

| Recommedation to drive Electrostatics? ML, Inner? I have used the EAD Powermaster 2000 and CAL MCA 2500 with great results when biamping. I have also used Bryston PP120's, Linar Audio 250i, and Sim Audio W10 monoblocks with good results. It depends on your liking and pocketbook. | |

| DVD Spinning noise normal? It could also be that some of your discs are warped, causing them to hit the sides while playing. This tends to happen to discs that are used or left in the car system for a long period of time. |
