| CD Player/Transport Quandary I've had the same experience when playing a CD on my Apollo-R and switching to the Orchid DAC. It' very difficult to hear a difference. I will do what Chayro suggested. That said, streaming through the Orchid is wonderful. | |

| To clean or not to clean... I always clean new vinyl. I have several different "home brews" that I use with my Okki Nokki. For new vinyl, a mild solution of 4 parts distilled water, 1part alcohol, 2 drops of surfactant. That removes any residue from the manufacturing process... | |

| Need a new FM Receiver that works very well I agree vintage is the way to go. I have two Accuphase T101's. Solid build and sound great. Also, Yamaha made some excellent tuners. |
