Scientist finds fungus that eats cd's
There was a similar thing called "laser rot" affecting laser discs years ago. It was found to be caused by the plastic not totally enclosing the aluminum disc allowing it to oxidize.
Members: start a music review section?
Am I missing something? I don't understand why we need A-gons permission nor why they would mind. We agree on the forum titles such as "Classical Review" or "Jazz Review" and start now. If Arnie likes what he sees and wants to help out by refining...
The end of an affair?
Martice, I greatly enjoyed your post. Your writing style is at least as good as what I've seen in any current magazine. In fact, I believe that the top half dozen or so posters on this forum could put out a helluva periodical. Don

Why would they want to mount it inside the house? The burglars already know that there is a burglary in progress. Mine is in a tamper resistant box mounted over the garage door and painted along with the house. It is not a speaker but a very, very...
Amp "Hum" caused by dimmer switches
Dimmers only cause problems when on. Turn it to the "off" position while listening. Problem solved.

Mimes should be shot. Be sure to use a silencer. Or is a mime a terrible thing to waste?
