| any benefit in a double bi-wire of 8TC? The 8TC bi-wires are nice and do clean up some of the sound. However, at the retail price it is painful...I sold my 8's, kept my single wire 4TC's and spent the couple hundred difference on music. | |

| Anyone running a solid state preamp and tube amp? I love running a solid state pre with tube amps. I know that my pre is very clean which allows me to "amp roll" without having any side effects from the pre. Tubes going into tubes can add extra noise/sound to the mix. | |
