A month of tweaks Willie, oh oh :-)The power switch on my Avatar is getting flaky, so it's soon off to VAC where they promise to look under the hood for any available improvements, so that will be my next "tweak."Thanks for the map ahead. You're right, I'm really f...
I s Benchmark the "Benchmark" I like my DAC1. It sounds better now that I use USB from JRiver instead of sourcing from a CD player, but there could be many reasons for that. I haven't tried much else, but I feel confident that Benchmark gets it right and is a great neutral uni...
Why does most new music suck? Lowrider57, One of the interesting aspects of the formula is a hook played every seven seconds or less to keep the brain from turning away, which means the product is formulated more for the sensibilities of Skinner Pigeons, rather than tunefulnes...

classe ca 200 running too hot? I tried the CA200 with some ML Quests, and it had the odd behavior of dimming the lights on loud passages, so it seemed a little different than just underpowered. When I went to the CA300 I never saw the problem again.
Watched the MTV awards that night Will this generation be singing the songs on this year's VMAs two, five, or ten years from now? No one knows for sure, but there is such a thing as disposable music, and a lot of what I heard sounds like a formulistic, disposable anthems. But then...
