I did an Audio Note kit 4.1 deluxe dac a few years ago. Had a bad experience with replacing a faulty board so I am leary about plunking down 3500 for their mono block tube kit

I think isolating all your audio gear on a dedicated line direct from panel is a must.   Also I am  a big fan  of designers that take the approach of using external power supplies. Especially in pre amps streamers &DACs With regard to room...

I would agree clean power is crucial.if you can run a dedicated line direct fron breaker panel that is a great start. Also I would spend a lot of prep time with speaker placement and room treatment  .

Have tried only 2 dedicated streamers prior to Baetis They were the Stack Audio Link II And Bryston BDA 3   With Baetis there is no comparison it is night and day. It might be also that I am using the R2R TotalDac d1 core DAC from TotalDac. ...

I purchased a Baetis Revolution And am quite happy with my digital front end now. Customer service is outstanding

Before spending that budget you  really should give Jim Salk at Salk Sound a look. I have his Ss M6 speakers and they punch way above their price range he has a range of floor mounts.
