| Recommended Classical CD Symphonic Poem No.3 (Lamartine) has lots of wonderful orchestral climaxes with cymbals...you can tell he was a buddy of Wagner from this one. Berlin/Von Karajan ('67) is a great performance but DG could have done much better engineering it. |
