ARC 100.2 or Belles Ref 350A?
If I’m not mistaken, the ARC could be 20 years old. I’d go with the Belles for sure (While a solid amp, the ARC was never known as an over-achiever).

Lately, I've been seeing more-and-more movies whose content has been "revised". Much more political editing to come I'm sure. At least with physical media, you know that what you have will be there in the future.
What are important features in a listening chair
Little known secret: Sitting in a IKEA Poang Chair, wearing an Urban Sombrero (from Seinfeld show) tilted at precisely 45 degrees, almost replicates exactly the acoustics of Carnegie Hall!
The 4k release of Blade Runner--is anyone as disappointed as I am??
Just checked, it’s called "HDR Video" (High Dynamic Range). BTW, when I play my Reference Recordings SACDs (high dynamic range music), they sound muted compared to other discs. I have to crank the volume just to hear the low-level content. Then, w...

My Sony 4K has an option that enables UHD. I tried using it once but it made the picture freaky bright and unnatural looking so I’m not sure my duck are in a row and I stopped using it. It’s right there in the "Picture Adjustments" list of the set...

@dsotm073 - Have you seen the "Pelican Chair"? Looks like it blocks side-wall reflections before they reach you!

Totally misunderstood (as usual).
What are important features in a listening chair
My ideal chair is what you would find in a dentist office. Has the headrest that covers the back of your skull and that's about it. A built-in motor to vibrate with bass frequencies (without the sound) for apartment-dwellers would be nice. Cover m...
Cost Effective Sub Woofer
I'm not contesting the consensus, but my former listening room was 24 X 17 and my 12 inch B&W sub worked just fine.
Cost Effective Sub Woofer
A little out of your "preferred" range at $1299, but it has so much going for it (Anthem room correction, plenty of power and it has wireless capability) I think it’s a sound investment (pun intended).https://www.paradigm.com/en/ported/defiance-x12
Moderately priced audio
So you spent the same "Hours and Minutes" and got a heck of a lot more!
Jimi Hendrix UHQR Mono & Stereo is shipping
Unless you are planning to re-sell "sealed", open and play ASAP. The last special edition I bought went unplayed for years and turned out to be defective.
I have three speakers avaiable to me??
I'd get some decent two-ways (e.g. KEF) and a couple of 12 inch subwoofers.
