Audio Solutions Figaro XL speakers.
What can you say about the bass in these?  They're rated down to about 25hz.  Can you tell that?  I love a true full-range speaker.  And I know that a sub always adds something but I like speakers that I don't "need" a sub for music.
Duntech repairs?
@pryso I have consulted with Bill Legall and he's outstanding to work with, there's a reason he's very busy at work!  He saw some pictures and diagnosed the problem pretty immediately.  Apparently this is a no brainer for an competent speaker refo...
Duntech repairs?
@roxy54 yes. They're very slow to respond if they respond at all.  I got a facebook message back from them saying they'll reply asap, that was like 4 days ago. I have read that they can't do anything and they'll send you around the world on a rabb...

HELP!  My Crown Princes sound amazing until they hit a strong bass note and they splat, or bottom out.  We just had the surrounds professionally replaced.  I spoke with Bill at Millersound (great guy) and he said there was probably damage done in ...
Owners of Duntech Crown Prince still out there?
Resurrecting this thread from the dead... I just jumped on a pair of Crown Princes and WOW.. I love these speakers.  Bass is excellent which is very important to me, I hate using subs with 2 ch.  Had the woofer surrounds replaced with Dynaudio sur...

Klipsch Cornwall IV
@mahlman who in Huntsville is a dealer and has the CW IV on display?  I thought all high end dealers were gone in Alabama.  Mid-high end stores in Bham are long gone.  I think Best Buy tried to put a Magnolia in their Hoover store and it's closed ...

@millercarbon when you say podiums I'm guessing you mean Seismic podiums?  At first I thought you just meant raised up off the floor.

Why would I put the Moab on podiums?

@donvito thanks for that.. Brown looks like an interesting company.  Good price point too!

@millercarbon yep I agree.  I'm selling stuff off to pay for either the Double Impact SE with Beryllium tweeter or Moab.

Thanks @millercarbon I have heard of Raven. They make excellent tube gear but their speakers appear to be WAY overpriced.  I'd like to know how many they've sold as $20k for an obscure brand is quite a risk to take give the other great speakers in...

Silent Source looks interesting but I can't find any info about the company and their products seem to only be sold by 3rd part sites.
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
I'm the OP.  I'm sure it does help on the second floor.. But the post was the effect the feet would have on a concrete slab solid floor. Not on a second or elevated floor. If you're on the second floor, I'd like to know the difference between usin...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@dyson2004 it's because everyone is suspicious of snake oil and people have different opinions.  The consensus here is:the SVS feet will relieve vibration in walls and downstairs.  But on a concrete slab they probably do nothing positive for the b...
