Options besides a computer for streaming
I think an Innuos Zen Mini with LPSU < $ than a Mac. Great as can load all your music on it (either folder or CDs), stream with Tidal or Qobuz, uses Roon (which IMO is awesome) and great quality

Who needs a Preamp??

Speaker Spikes and related items....
kmscalley,It is only my opinion, but I would be concerned about a speaker over an HVAC vent.  Lying over a vent will produce very dry, hot air in winter, and in summer the cold air will definitely cause condensation on the speaker base as it hits ...
Full Range Drivers and SET's, why is a classic combo?
If they are still available, the First Watt SIT-3 does a wonderful job with a horn and at 18 watts can easily drive most any horn.  Very tube like sound and a great price
Bookshelf Bake Off
Have a listen to Mark Audio Sota Cesti B.  Great sound, under budget and they have a 30 day trial period.  And the red is very cool looking!
What is your favorite High EFF speaker
My favorite is the Rethm Saadhana (101 dB)  I have owned the Maarga also.  My other speakers have all been in the 85 dB range.  I would say you will obviously have to listen for yourself, but I think you cant go wrong with a good horn.  I like the...
Basic integrated amp for $700-$900
May I suggest the PS Audio Sprout 100.  It is small, silver, well built and sounds great for $599.
Horn Speaker Recommendations
MrdecibelSorry, I am curious as you seem quite knowledgeable and I am relatively new to horns.  I have only heard unmodified Klipsch and I preferred the Rethm to these.  Thanks again
Horn Speaker Recommendations
Mrdecibel1I would be curious to get your opinion on the Rethm Saadhana (if you have heard them).  They have powered bass built in (obviously not horn) but designed to avoid the disconnect and goes down to 18Hz.  I find their sound wonderful (but o...
Our Responsibility
oregonpapa-Thanks!  I was having trouble finding it.  I used the link and of course now see it.  A big difference?  I have very stable power and dedicated 12 G wires to dedicated breaker.  I assume you have similar and this improved your SQ even f...
Horn Speaker Recommendations
It might be helpful to know what you are pairing the speakers with.  Would you need new amp?  Be able to use higher demanding speakers? etc.  I would take a listen to the Rethm Saadhana.  They are a beautiful speaker in both sound and looks.  Loud...

LMFAO,NOT because its funny, but because I am fortunate to have your setup, but I am in a 24x24x6.5 foot room so I was able to add the $2.2 million, 1.5 tonne Opera Only amplifier by Andrea Pivetta. I was worried someone matched my exact system an...
