Powering ProAc Response 2.5's
I use a CJ Premier 11a with the ProAcs, which you can find used for around $1700 +/-.I've used used the Pass Aleph 3 and agree that it works. But be careful matching that amp, with its low input impedence, with a tube pre.

Apparently the driver supply problem was solved and the La Folia is in production and has a solid future.
Stereophile looses Jonathan Scull
I hope he doesn't. He's a lightweight.

Brightness Differences Between Daytime and Evening

Wall Outlets? Whats the difference?

Wanna hear your soundstage walk around ???
There was a CD from a collaboration of XLO and Sheffield Labs, circa 1994, which also had a glide tone on it. Actually two tones, splitting the frequency spectrum. Shorter in duration than the long one on the Ayre. I found it to be sometimes quite...
Which direction would you go?
Mike, great post, first of all. I think we can all relate.Have you heard a system you really loved? At someone's home or at a dealer's or perhaps the Home Entertainment Show (coming up end of May in NYC)? You might think about finding an entire sy...
