Anyone heard ProAc's new D25?
Maybe they're not out yet. CES perhaps.
My M20s were humbled
Not to sidetrack the thread, but how sucessful have people been in adding subs to monitor systems? I've always felt that if I can't get it to integrate perfectly, and if I'm always going to be tempted to tweak the level and x-over frequency for ea...
Is Nelson's pre as good as his amp ?
>The Aleph amps prefer a balanced input signalWhat? These are the original single-ended solid state designs. As I recall, the Aleph 3 doesn't even accept a balanced input.

But you can stay with a two-way design, just get more bass extension by buidling it into a larger cabinet, can't you? And what do you give up?Warren, why do you say they can become addicting?
Why use a power receptacle at all?
For sound quality. Of course, it would be a code violation, even in a third-world country.
Which speakers excel at low volume?
So I've done a little reading on the Green Mountain Europas. Design principals seem very similar to Thiel: first-order crossovers, time coherent. But I have an impression that they don't sound anything like Thiels. Any thoughts?

Yeah, it's in print, widely available.
VAC - any comments? Good or bad.
Ease up on Subaruguru, guys. He's jut reporting his personal experience with product, not making a blanket indictment of the brand.
First Sound & Jeff Rowland
I have a First Sound and have used it successfully with a Rowland Model One, though the Rowland is not my primary amplifier. Actually, the 201s really interest me too and I'd like to try them. I see no reason why it wouldn't be a great combination.
Review: Dali Euphonia MS4 Speaker
Nice job! I was going to seek out the S3.4' based on your earlier review, but now...If you mentioned it, I missed it--what's the price?
Underestimated, song, artist or group '' gems'' ?
I appreciate TWL' s mention of Urge for Going, which was just about first song I learned to play on guitar back in 1968. I was playing Tom Rush's arrangement. He was an inspired scout of great songwriting talent (Joni, Jackson Browne, James Taylor...
Which artists do you just not get?
For me, the difference is the songs.
