Is Bluetooth friendly with high-end DAC's ? thanks so much for clarifying connectivity issues. Draining the DAC for 30 seconds did the trick - and I may have to do it on the regular from here on out. I really enjoy hearing the NAXOS Music Library of 3 million tracks on my big system.
CD Transports My Moon 260D stand-alone transport came with a 10-year warranty. No problems after two. Recently I paired it with the Moon 780D v2 DAC, and I now have the most transparent digital front-end I've owned in 20 years of spinning cd's.
Looking to get the best out of Redbook Cd listening with Dac a d Transport under 5K? Moon Neo 260D CD Transport with a 10-year warranty. Redbook only, no SACD - I use it with their 780D DAC via AES/EBU.
What do you say to your audiophile friends who say you just listen to your equipment more When my system succeeds in releasing the music, that's all I hear - the system disappears.
I'm sure my new Moon 780D can reveal more than what my DH Labs AES/EBU delivers it. yes I did do comparisons in my system and settled for Audience frontRow series cables and power cord - they won, hands down.
I'm sure my new Moon 780D can reveal more than what my DH Labs AES/EBU delivers it. I finally decided on Audience frontRow series cord and cables in/out of the Moon 780D. Very satisfied.
"Loom" cabling vs. 'mix n match' ? thank you rodman - we share the same spirit. This new digital playback system is so transparent - it makes plain the performers' and even the composer's INTENTION.
"Loom" cabling vs. 'mix n match' ? First, thanks to all the 'goners' (heh) who shared their experience, strength, and hope on my thread of cabling for the Moon 780D DAC, which deserves as good as I can provide. After much research, I took delivery today of a full loom of Audience ...
"Loom" cabling vs. 'mix n match' ? you mean my current cabling ? it's nothing serious, as I'd been playing a Wadia one-box S7i since 2009. It's a discarded Audience power cord (hand me down from a friend who since ascended to the Vivaldi stack), a DH Labs 110 aes/ebu ($89) and si...
I'm sure my new Moon 780D can reveal more than what my DH Labs AES/EBU delivers it. thanks so much for all of your responses. And now I understand why Sim Moon isn't recommending any specific cables, although I did ask simply enough what they used at their show, again to no avail. I appreciate your feedback and experience.- Dr. ...
I'm sure my new Moon 780D can reveal more than what my DH Labs AES/EBU delivers it. andrewkelley - thanks for being up front. Why Sim Moon didn't want to get specific with me - who knows ? From Moon 260D transport to DAC they recommended AES/EBU and likewise ethernet for streaming. Pure silver IC, eh ? My IC from pre-amp to amp...
I'm sure my new Moon 780D can reveal more than what my DH Labs AES/EBU delivers it. thanks - my own dealer is likewise out of state, but I imagine any Moon dealer could vouch for what cabling maxes out the DAC's prowess.
Is anyone going to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest? to lalitkre: the Moon stack you heard. Any idea what aes/ebu cable carried the bytes from their transport to the 780D ? I just bought their demo DAC from them, but they are not forthcoming with the aes/ebu they used - why I don't know, but I ...
Need a Roon, Wifi, DAC Expert Please! I just ordered a Sim Moon 780D v2, Roon-ready and MQA-capable via Bluetooth and 8 other digital input capabilities. With its own proprietary MiND streamer, it offers built-in Tidal access. I play mostly redbook cd's (yes, I know, I know), and it'...
If you still spin CD's their is a reference level Transport for reasonable money no representation here in North America ? |
