Rogue RP-1 slight hum
Thank you all for the thoughts and suggestions.  Rogue was awesome! Everything I heard was true about their customer service and follow up.  Issue is the sensitive nature of the Klipsch. I made sure all IC's are away as much as possible from pow...
Feel free to talk me off the ledge
lol! Thank you everyone, I can always count on each of you to give me opinions and suggestions that make me seriously think and explore. I have resolved to go another direction than the Klipsch. As pretty as they are, and as dynamic as they are, ...
song recommendations for Klipsch Heresy IV's?
That recently released Steely Dan Live album sounds amazing on mine. The Heresy's also seem made for Allison Kraus's voice. Also was listening to Miles Davis sketch's of Spain and Dave Brubeck's West Side Story with a big ol' grin on my face last ...

Svs, Rel, or ?.
Just my thought. I have an SVS PB2000 pro. It's everything I need. Love the phone app for fine tuning and pre-sets. It's not a micro for sure. The SVS really adds an amazing amount of weight and presence. I've owned several Velyodyne and Monitor A...
Svs, Rel, or ?.
I have a fair sized SVS PB2000pro, surely not a micro. I live in the same town where they are made and their customer service is awesome. For my listening the SVS adds a jaw dropping weight and presence. As mentioned previously the phone app is am...
Need McIntosh service advice
I have nothing but positive thoughts and respect for Audio Classics. Have dealt with Ryan several times. A really upstanding and knowledgeable guy. Heck of a tech.
which valve amp for Forte III or Heresy III?
I now have a Rogue Atlas paired with my Heresy IV's. I am simply in awe every time i sit down. It's such a harmonious combo. Everything has opened up, soundstage, dynamics, depth, sweet midrange and treble, weighty lows. I like switching between U...
Transmission line speakers!
I'll never forget the first time I heard TDL Reference speakers. I was simply blown away. For a kid still years away from a degree I couldn't even dream of laying out the dough. Eventually I did own a couple pair of TDL transmission line. A studio...
Mc 240 vs. Prima Luna
Thank you everyone for the thoughtful comments, suggestions, advice.. I do completely enjoy my current set up, and I am feeling the additional 240 may not be the best use for my dollars. Perhaps I can split what I’ve saved and upgrade elsewhere. ...
Do you ever miss vintage gear you no longer have?
Two for me. TDL Studio 0.5's. Transmission Line designed cab, warm, nice presence for a small floor stander. A bit difficult to set up.Threshold 400A. Heated the room, but had such power and separation, clean yet warm sounding. I will likely make ...

Cornwall IV and subwoofers
For me, and again for me... I have Heresy IV's with an SVS PB2000 pro. It's everything I need. The Heresy's with my Mac 240 are a sweet combination. The SVS gives every recording an easy weight and presence. I really like the SVS mobile app and pr...
Aren't you sorry you missed out on this one? It's already sold out! LOL
I quite like my Ultra Deck.
PrimaLuna Evo 200 underwhelming
A bit of what keeferdog referenced. I've rolled several matched quads through my MAC 240, Svetlana, Sovtek etc.. they weren't even close to the Tung Sol 6l6GC reissues i have now. Even better than a mismatched quad of RCA's (questionable vintage).
