Raven Blackhawk LE... am I going to be disappointed?
I would not pair these two products unless forced to, and I would expect seriously compromised performance from such a setup. BTW, this is NOT a comment on the individual products, but the decision to use them together.
Any audiophiles in Israel or Europe here?

Wheels for floor standing speakers
Better be careful.
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
Actually, I should add to my last comment. A simple comparison is not terribly informative. A comparison between amps in use with 4-6 speaker systems, and from 12-18 discrete systems yields an entirely different assessment (perhaps consistent with...
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
The i.V Ultra series of amps from Legacy Audio are not stock IcePower modules in a box. That discussion needs to be discarded. I have not shared everything I know about the design. I am not interested in sharing it all, as well. Further, I presume...
Did I damage my speakers?
80dB should not be challenging at all, and should not be harmful to practically any HiFi floor standing speaker in the world. It is also doubtful that both speakers have failed in precisely the same way at the same time. Far more likely we are loo...
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
Ric, I really appreciate your last post! Cleeds’ post enlightened me to the fact that I did not see the disclosure of "ricevs", as I am not familiar with your company. I removed my two previous posts, as I now consider them unproductive to continu...
Is D for Dry? Class D...
I will conduct a bit of forensic audio analysis. The GCC dates to about 2005, WFS STI 500 dates to about 2010, and Peachtree Nova 220 SE to about 2014. I had a pair of PS Audio GCA 250 amps - wow, that was a long time and a lot of gear ago! I had ...
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
ricevs, I checked with Legacy, and you are correct; the amp is not differential, but the bridged modules when run mono are. I have revised the article accordingly, and it will appear revised on the website. The channels are not using only one half...
What’s a mistake you made by being impulsive?
Very nice thread topic, well stated! You should get a lot of varied feedback. Here's my experience... I'm sure there were at least a few dozen times (even though I try to discriminate in regards to what I will/won't view) that I saw movies which w...
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
My review of the Legacy Audio i.V4 Ultra Amplifier is now published at Dagogo.com
Has Anyone Ever Run TWO Identical Pairs of Speakers ?
I have done so, and it's a waste. It's how you move away from SOTA. You'll get a TON of mediocrity - if that's what you're after. Save your money and get a better single pair of speakers, if you want quality sound.
what system musicians prefer? Do they care?
Frankly, there is no equivalency between performance of electronics and live musicianship. It’s not terribly productive to attempt to find equivalency. It has a similar disconnect as trying to ask a painter to weigh in on video production. Having ...
what system musicians prefer? Do they care?
Why would I care what a musician wants for a system? Typically, I've not been overly impressed with the rigs that musicians have put together. Half of the ones I've seen, they are dropping the bottom frequencies under 40Hz, as if this is no proble...
Do Banana Plug Adaptors Degrade SQ?
Any discussion on differences of connectors (i.e. "which is better") apart from being the same brand/manufacturer is a waste of time. The only proper assessment is with the same brand/model of cables with different connectors. I that context, spad...
