I posted that exact link above, on this very page.
The NAD M33 will cancel your complaints about Class D
Erik, my reply was deleted by mods because they’ve figured out that any conversation that runs counter to the prevailing orthodoxies here is bad for business. My stated SINAD numbers were taken from the full ASR M33 write up, which I linked above. ...
The NAD M33 will cancel your complaints about Class D
@erik_squires The reason it’s a mediocre implementation would be obvious if you (or really anybody here) had bothered to read detailed measurements of other PuriFi implementations, which routinely reach -120db SINAD. The fact that NADs implementat...
The NAD M33 will cancel your complaints about Class D
This place is insufferable sometimes. OP acts like it’s some miracle that NAD has created a good Class D product when really they’ve just licensed a Bruno Putzey PuriFi topology and done a mediocre job implementing it. https://www.audiosciencerevi...
Seriously? Why Buy ARC Ref 6SE? seems Benchmark LA4 is a better choice.
You guys are too much, sometimes this forum reads like outtakes from Grumpy Old Men.
What's the best and/or favorite piece of equipment you've owned? And do you still own it?

spend on the streamer or on the DAC ?
Just gonna state for the record, that asynchronous USB from computer to DAC and then on to the rest of the system is superior in pretty much every case to whatever streamer you’re using and the gymnastics it’s doing to convert the bitstream to eit...
Thinking about getting a R2R DAC

Thinking about getting a R2R DAC
I can’t believe that someone in this thread tried to state that R2R DACs are “bit perfect”, implying that they’re more accurate than Delta Sigma, which is actually the opposite of the truth. This place is a caricature of itself sometimes.
Best "Bang for the Buck" you have owned?
Bought a McIntosh MX-118 for $300 in mint condition at work (I sold HiFi and we took it on trade). Used it for 2-3 years and later flipped it for almost $2k on eBay. At the time I didn’t see much use for it as it was a lowly Pro Logic surround rec...
Forum E-Mail Link Issue
Works again. Apologies for the inconvenience.
cost no object integrated amps
This thread is.. special. I have a lot to say about the ability of teeny tiny audio outfits being able to ACTUALLY compete on sound quality and engineering and material design with the big boys, but it would fall on deaf ears. Economies of scale a...
“BLOCK” Function?
I don’t have a clue what anybody is talking abt in here any more.
One of the Best Stereo System in the World!
Love the room, and I’m sure it sounds amazing. Hope he doesn’t have ALS so he can enjoy it longer. Poor guy.
“BLOCK” Function?
There are a few people on every forum who have SO little going on their personal lives that they sit around hitting refresh all day on the forum looking for opportunities to interject. They’re usually not aware that what they’re doing is lame. Tha...
