Steve - Hmm. Thought I had this figured out. Will there be a problem going from pc using usb to DAC1 due to this memory spooling issue?
PCs: Transparent vs Audience
Sidssp - I too cringe at shelling out cash for aftermarket pcs; Krell on their website a while back recommended against it. However, a few people I know (not dealers) with the same equipment strongly recommend it.

Synergistic results from also using tourmaline hair straightener on speaker wire give you that "at the performance feeling"!
USB DAC balanced or unbalanced inputs?

DAC or new player ?
