Woofer pumping possibly due to tube amp when playing vinyl @ last_lemming, I agree the clamp is not the solution. But i did not say it was. That was post #3 that said it was the (clamp.) I said the subsonic filter might help. I do not know if a perimeter ring will work. I do hope you find a solution. Mike...

seeking ‘HORN’ ideas apart from Klipshc Lascalla @ ozzy62, Well said!. And what the poster said, about the JBL M2s is spot on. My jbl 4435 monitors do not "DISTORT" the sound. In fact they have the cleanest bass of any speakers that i have heard.! They reproduce cymbals like live music. IMHO :-)
Ground loop feedback - cable wire issue @ atmasphere, My emotiva xpa 1 gen-2 amp is a two pin ac cord. That is four years old. Do you think, i will have a problem. Mike. :-)

30w class A amp for Joseph Audio perspective 2? @ tiger, Do you have gain controls on the back of the amp. What jjss49 said is right. Adjusting the amps in put gain will make the amp, more or less sensitive to in put Voltage, from the preamp output. :-)
