Why not use a piece of silver wire instead of a jumper cable? "Tin the end with 4% silver solder and silicone the tube closed." I've found that silicone makes the sound top heavy. DeKay | |

Another Tool for cleaning records? Used a Tourmaline based hair dryer, in the past, to clear up CRT screens (pointed the back of the dryer @ the screen). Some (at the time) were using them to treat audio source material, but I don't recall the specifics. DeKay | |
