What caused double posts of same discussion
My posts are only showing up once.   What do I have to do to make them show up twice?   I just want to fit in.   DeKay

asvjerry:   There were a series of photos from that shoot, but I can't find them right now.   In one pic the dog is chomping on Frank's hand.   DeKay

Static electricity affecting sound reproduction. Please help!!
A large low profile bowl of water (for evaporation) should be an easy thing to try. We use an old metal/enamel wash bowl to humidify our 2BR apartment in the Los Angles area and it seems to do the job. I place it on the top of a tall Tansu cabin...

Tube question - who makes Magnum Dynalab Reference 6922 Cryovalves??
Think they used cryo'd tubes from various manufacturers.   A quick Google search found mention of Phillips USA and Russian 6922's (both of which used to be plentiful/inexpensive).   If you can post close up pics that would help.   Otherwise ...

I would think that older people know... When I was really young I played at recital competitions (clarinet) and my sister played piano in the same (she was good). In these cases the audience always considerably outnumbered the players. Later on...

I use a 47 Labs OTA cable kit. The only metal mass in the female RCA is the 26 gauge solid core copper wire used for for the interconnect itself. I suspect that the non-metal RCA is made of Teflon, but not certain.   DeKay
