Am I Better Off With Limited Low Frequency Speaker In A Small Room?
If your cubical room is a problem you may want to try a diagonal setup in your listening room. It helped a lot when I was in  borg-like 10x10x10 (although it did not do much for Soundstage depth. Good luck! DeeCee

What is the best non-conditioning surge protector
After moving to the lightning capitol of the US, I have a whole house surge protector installed and I use Brickwall on my AV system (although it provides minimal filtering, I have not found any issue with its use); also the type of protection that...
OK...here's another tweak that really works
I have both the IBE CD and the Cardas LP and yes, they make an audible difference (actually I like the effect after a few plays of music). The most profound effect was from the Gryphon Exorcist but it was way too pricey for me. No one seems to k...
Does Anyone Else Member the Golden Age of Audio Insults and Product Degradation?
I recall going to Radio Shack and Lafayette Electronics as a kid for electronics parts. They were competitors that used to call each other “Laff-a-lot” and “Radio Shaft”, respectively. Heh.

What are your favorite recordings that sound best to you?
Shirley Horn - The Music That Makes Me Dance. Breathtakingly executed in production and performance. Cassandra Wilson - New Moon Daughter. Again, excellent performances and sound quality.

What Are Your Reference Discs? or Specific Reference Tracks
I'm not sure that reference is the proper term; I burned a CD that use a collection of tunes I like and I'm well familiar with that allow me to note certain aspects of a system that I audition (ambience, soundstage, detail, bass, etc.)Most are not...
