Whats on your turntable tonight?
I discovered Jose James. Honest, never heard of him before. Now it’s been 2 hours non-stop discovering his music. A bit more to the R&B side which I never listen too then the blues, which is where I found him. Got a new favorite tonight.
During this isolation, I would be interested in suggestions of great movies you like.
@whatjd  Perhaps another thread on movies we like and probably shouldn't? The Core - completely ridiculous and I've watched it a dozen times and will do so again.

The King of Hearts 1966.
Lexicon RV-6
I Owned a Lexicon MC-12 which I ran with a mcintosh amp. Great sound for movies, great surround-sound. Very poor for just listening to music in stereo. Ran very hot for a pre-amp. Hope this helps a bit.
unbeatable Class A integrated
Oh and Class A is not over rated. Blows away every class D I’ve ever heard. Those Luxman 30 watts sound better then the 200 class D I had or previous ones I owned. Your mileage may vary but I am no push over on SQ.

Replaced my mcintosh gear with a Luxman 590AXII and it was an incredible improvement. I could not be happier with the sound and the looks. The phono is both MM/MC, using a Hana MM right now and it’s a lovely combination The headphone amp is stunni...
Luxman 509 or McIntosh 8900
Probably too late to add but I lived with a Macintosh amp and preamp for many years, decided to finally upgrade and for various reasons went with the Luxman 590AXII and now wish I had replaced the Mac’s years ago. The Luxman is more detailed, warm...

MJQ - the complete Atlantic studio recordings
Strange Rivers
Now Edcyn, as a certified Deadhead (I.e. attended dozens of concerts and don’t remember much about any of them), California Bloodlines is a great album.

Modern Jazz Quartet. Complete.
WAF --
I have always found a new purse smooths over everything. Especially an LV. And a $2,000 purse is just as justifiable as a $2000.00 interconnect.
Big source improvement using CD player
I debated between getting another CD player when mine died and getting a Bluesound Vault. With good advice from a local audio store I went with the bluesound and never looked back. Loaded all my CD’s, buy them for $2 or so when I want something, c...
Most valuable LP
First pressing of Beatles Rubbber Soul. It was my older sister that gave it to me when I was probably 10. Bkeskee, those old punk 45’s are always worth a few bucks.  I have one The Plasmatics. Killer cover with typical  80’s punk songs.
Best debut album
Lots of great ones already listed. I’ll add Steve Forbert Alive on Arrival. The tune “It isn’t going to be that way” hit me hard.
old high end preamps..
The original Hafler pre-amp was amazingly good. My first pre-amp brought with a HK amp first, then a B&K amp.
