Synergy Between Magicos5 With Pass Labs X350.5
Yes, but again, listen to the .8 amp before you go for the .5 amp.
So what would you recommend for my next upgrade?
Hmm...which 3B model, and which preamp. It might have been a mismatch.

I would upgrade the speakers. The Thiels need more power/current to perform at there best. IMO the 1.5's don't justify spending more money on an amp/pre or even a larger Bryston intergrated. Since you like the Thiel sound think outside the box(lol...

Perceived value, perhaps?
Has anyone experience with FM Acoustics.
Yeah, that's what I've been doing. As I said before here and on other forums, I'm a bit sorry I sold it off. Because I probably won't have the opportunity to own them again, because of the extremely high price. And even if I did have $200k or so t...

Try the 350.8 along with the 350.5. The .8 is not that much more than the .5. Around $2k.

That's cool you're on the mend zavato. Happy Listening!
Tweeter type and brightness
I really like titanium tweeters, but magnesium and beryllium even better. Aluminum tweeters are kind of rough, imo. And I will say that ATC has amazing soft dome tweeters in their speakers. Very detailed and not harsh at all.

I agree. Pass Labs is a solid choice regardless of the prices. You get what you pay for in most instances.

Get well soon, Zavato.

I agree, but you could say the same for other high end firms. Such as FM Acoustics, don't even get me started with them!
