Over loading? I (personally) ran 8/3 from my main, on a 60 amp breaker at a length of 20’ to my subpanel. Now, if the 12/2 from the subpanel to the outlets are nor more then 3’ per outlet x3. This is why I’m asking; I don’t want to harm my amps. Mark, why is it...
Over loading? jea; I never, tripped the breaker, just don't want to put a strain on my amps. Like I wrote earlier, is that there’s 12/2 romex to a 15 amp rec. which is fine. I’m sure I can still change the breaker to 20 amps with 12/2, which should be code, &...
Over loading? Thanks hifiman. I’m running B&W s. x9 & I haven’t tipped the breaker "15 amp". I can change the breaker to a 20 amp. It’s 12/2 romex, or I can run another line. I originally had them on their own 15 amp breaker, but moved 1 amp so not to s...
Over loading? So the 5250 = 250 watts x 5, 8 Ω / 385 watts x 5, 4 Ω.The 2003 = 200 watts RMS x 3, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 8 Ω, all channels driven 300 watts RMS x 3, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 4 Ω, all channels driven.So which do I go by? 8 or 4 ohm?
Over loading? My 5250 says - Current Capacity 45 amps peak per channel, x5.The 2003 says - Current Capacity 60 amperes peak, per channel, x3.Correction. 405 total.
Cabinet I thought maybe it would have effect the sound & or video output/input in some way.
Power cords for UHD Blue ray. Just to make it clear. Doesn't my Furman condition the power?
Cabinet Thanks to all who replied! With a lil labor, the doors have raised panels that I will be replacing with speaker grill cloth, & install a fan in the top rear of the unit. My existing unit doesn't go with my decor. I figured this will be strong e...
Cabinet Not worried about the vibration,I can work that out. I’m concerned if there would be any unwanted frequencies from the porcelain? I also have the ventilation covered.
Power cords for UHD Blue ray. Thanks for your responses. I have a Furman Elite 20,so that takes care of that. Connected W/ Cullen cable, & my two amps are also connected W/ Cullens cables. I just might have to call Cris & order another pc..
Pioneer out of mothballs. I always had an outdoor antenna since I bought my SX-1250 new in I think 1976. Then sold that to make way for the SX 1280, saw no reason at that point to purchase the SX-1980 if you familiar with those models. Lived in Bklyn,NY reception was great...
Pioneer out of mothballs. That's what I used. Thanks. Now if I can get better FM reception I'll be a happy camper.
Pioneer out of mothballs. Thanks czar for your suggestions. I did clean it top to bottom, all the buttons, switches & knobs were cleaned w/CRC 2-26. I took the time to check for any cracks in the circuit boards & all the caps are fine. All the RCA plugs were also ad...

Pioneer out of mothballs. I tried this from Amazon Tendak Digital to Analog Converter Adapter Optical Audio 2 TOSLINK SPDIF + 2 Coaxial to TOSLINK with L/R RCA and 3.5mm Stereo Audio Switcher, but I sent it back not trying the 3.5, only the 2 coaxial. Maybe shame on me? |
