Townshend Springs under Speakers
When I was first trying to integrate my subs I had the gain way up and of course they excited my suspended floor. I ended up buying the Auralux (sp?) SubDude and it made a big difference. Of course getting the subs integrated better and turning th...
So I just bought a Hegel H390 and
I'm extremely happy with the Dali Opticon 8s I just received. Not familiar with Hegel as I am using a Parasound integrated.
Listening Skills Part Duex: What are you listening for?
Well for myself I don't know where I will go from here. My journey, while delayed for many years, started in an Army buddies room in the barracks in Erlangen Germany. He had bought a Yamaha amp and pre and a pair of Cerwin Vega D9 and I thought I ...
Bad recordings and high end audio
If you liked the Dyneaudio you might want to consider Dali as well. I just received a pair of Opticon 8 and though I haven't had the time since to spend time on positioning I am very happy!
DALI Opticon or Dynaudio Evoke help please?!

Did you ever get the OP 8's @kingbr? I'm waiting on a pair to be shipped now, not the new MK2. If you did get them what ate your thoughts so far?
The best room upgrade: $2250
You could always move. Northern Michigan is beautiful and quiet. Our waters are shark free.
AV123 Strata Mini's or Klipsch Forte 3 or 4
I'd look into the Volti Razz. Much better build than the Klipsch.
What Integrated Amp do You use
Very happy with my Hint 6. Parasoound makes a good product.

@hshifi Thank you for letting me know your experience with them and how much you enjoy them. I think they'll be great! I do listen to a lot of different things but classic rock is the main course. I think these will be delicate when they need to b...

@chorus thank you for the encouragement and the advice. As you said it did end up being more of a mini vacay as they say. A trip on my own would have been much better but wife wanted to get out of the house. Mom has alzheimer's so we can't leave h...

@elliotnewcombjr I know I may regret not going with the Volti's now but I think I'm going with the Dali's. I have secured a return on them if I don't find them right in room and if that's the case I will take the Volti leap.

@oldaudiophile I chose Nashville because the Volti's are mfg there nearby, there was a dealer who carried Tannoy (out of stock) and another with the Magnepans. I had not considered Dali's. The Dali's had been used as a demo pair previously then re...
