| SACD Player Sony makes a very nice unit as does Marantz. I would normally suggest the Ayre C5xe in your peice range but that unit is stereo only. | |

| CD Player into amp? I had a similar experience as Arthur. I ran my philips cd-80 direct into my amp cj mf2500 at the time. Could not tolerate the sound I had to go back to using an active pre cj premier 17 at the time. | |
| CJ LP140M 6922 tubes The small signal tubes (6922) do not need to be matched. And because cj amps have a bias adjustment the larger power tubes also do not need to be matched. I would ask cj if it were me and not necessarily depend on the answers you receive here. | |
