there's much slimpler way:connect one end of cable onto hot slot of wall outlet and another end of cable onto newtral slot of wall outlet and your cable will burn.

cold water pipe in the place i live is plastic and so sewage. one way is to drop ground inside sewage such as drop it in toilet tub, but be careful not to do ya thing when there's thunder or you can loose ya things... sewage and waste is much bett...

Try lubricating motor bearings. VPI has it's own oil, but trivial pistol oil should be OK. If accessible, open and clean bearings and anchor first. You may want to use compressed air if you have such.
