Being alone with your music
With me being retired and my wife still working, I am fortunate enough to have most days to sit in the sweet spot and smile.
Recommend me a DAC under 3k
I have the Pontus ll and love it, but if I had the money, the Venus is supposed to be super. All the best.
Should I Sell My ARC REF 6 and Get A Pass Labs XP-32
@moto_man  I’m going to say yes only if you sell me your Ref 6 for an absurdly low price.  Otherwise, you can buy another set of tubes now and throw them in a drawer until you need them.     All the best.

Well let’s see.  I have heard the Mahavishnu Orchestra. I have at least two copies of Bitches Brew.  I have a couple of Al DiMeola albums.  I’m listening to “ The Essential John McLaughlin” ant it has something from Shakti, Mahavishnu, Pavo de Lu...
Thank You Fumihiko Sugano and Koetsu
Another artist is gone.  I to could never afford a piece of art, but to those who could,  what a great loss.
SPL Diamond DAC - no remote control
For me, I can’t/don’t use the dac as a preamp and it’s no big deal to get off my butt an press a button to switch from CD to streamer. It’s probably better for me to move once in awhile to press those buttons.😁 Maybe someday.

@stuartk  How have I never heard John McLaughlin?  I don’t have a single CD or even a tune that he’s played on in my collection. What a huge rock I’ve been under!

Has anyone here heard of Jaimie Branch?  This is the last of her three albums. https://youtu.be/AVRWQTh-Ujg?si=d-CTWHGrOOU5cYF1
